Membership Information

To obtain membership in FLEPRU, as an Active or Affiliate Member you must meet the criteria as set forth in our bylaws:

Section 1 - Active Member:

Any current and/or retired employee of a Florida law enforcement agency of municipal, county, state or federal jurisdiction and who does not own and/or is currently employed by a business which is regulated by Florida State Statutes, Chapter 538 and/or 539.

Section 2 - Affiliate Member:

Any individual, or any representative of any business, company, corporation or organization known or believed, by the President and Executive Board of the Unit, to be beneficial to the best interests and/or objectives of the Florida Law Enforcement Property Recovery Unit, Inc., and who does not own and/or is employed by a business which is regulated by Florida State Statutes, Chapter 538 and/or 539, may be an Affiliate Member. Said Affiliate Member shall be at the sole discretion of the President and Executive Board of the Florida Law Enforcement Property Recovery Unit, Inc. Affiliate Members shall have the privilege of an Active Member and may hold office within the unit with the exception of the Offices of President and Vice-President. Affiliate Members may be excluded from any intelligence session(s) and/or business meeting(s) at the discretion of the President and/or Executive Board.
